Okay, so I went to the movies to see Tenet and it was actually enjoyable because I was the only customer in the entire building.

The movie itself was pretty good, but also terrible. Nolan has a fetish for characters having important discussions during loud scenes, including a boat race where waves are crashing and they're talking over a low-volume headset. The time travel stuff was interesting, but you don't see the future at all and it's basically the time travel from Looper complete with sending gold back as payment. The reasoning for the future wanting to kill the past was also dumb. Climate change has killed Earth hundreds of years in the future, but somehow it's 2020's fault. Nigga, why didn't you big brains fix it at any point over the ensuing centuries? You've got fucking time travel!

The wife is fucking atrocious. Just godawful. Nolan's trying to add humanity to the film by including her, but holy shit her character does absolutely nothing, effects nothing, and she completely ruins the climax because the movie keeps cutting back to her on a boat making stupid pouty faces. Holy fuck, fuck Nolan for that character. Literally the worst character he's ever written or will ever write. Fuck her!

Action scenes were okay. Couple of decent fight scenes, though the finale is pretty weak with just a few cool explosions.

Tenet as an organization was also pretty lame. It consists of four top people and a couple of squads of grunts.

This is why you should avoid time travel in your stories. 'Cause you pretty much have to include glaring plot holes like this to even have a story to begin with.
