A place called "Bavarian Lodge" does exist in northern Illinois. I don't see any high ABV pear cider on their current menu but it sounds like Spoony went there several years ago so it could have been different then. Ze Germans of DHI can say if what he's talking about exists.
I'm guessing both of those stories are highly embellished but at least these are more normie "lol, I got so wild when I was wasted" lies instead of the usual Spoony tall tales.

The bigger thing is that he obviously feels well enough now to take a zany walk down memory lane, so that means he can do the stream from yesterday he promised. I'm sure he's getting the equipment together right now.

Here in Bavaria we have this drinky schnaps called Obstler which is like a quick way to get drunk for hobos and other poorfags since it is cheap and you don't need much of it. The taste is so vile that it's no good for anything else.
Anything that I would consider a cider though is stuff that I used to drink like apple juice, never feeling anything from it.

Maybe he's just rambling in hopes that everyone just forgets his half assed plans for streaming in the first place.
