Mel Gibson's new movie is meh. Kate Bosworth is looking good for an older chick, and there's a cute latina cop, but it's typical middling time wasting bullshit. Mel looks like he filmed his scenes in a day, the action sucks, the direction is so generic you'll think it's part of the MCU. It's not awful, it's just there.

Back in the 90s, DTV movies looked cheap but they were full of John Woo ripoff gunfights, random martial arts, and lead actresses who weren't too proud to get their tits out. Current Year is so bland and joyless.

He's remaking the fucking Wild Bunch - I like Mel, more or less, but have always hated this idea.

Very true. Hitchens was woke on the Austrian Question to a degree most Germans aren't even.
They also like to claim Mozart as Austrian as he was born in Salzburg, which also was part of the Holy Roman Empire. It's really funny how back then everyone was just considered German, which is accurate, but when we were split and the differentiation actually made sense they started claiming it was "us" that gave rise to ebul Hippler.
Extra funny since Austria was hyped to become part of the third Reich. They are tsundere as fuck.
