As if they weren't irrelevant enough already.

So I just watched one of my personal favorite movies Screwed with Norm McDonald and Dave Chappelle again for the sixth time. It has that 90's/2000's
(I know I talk about the 2000's a lot but the stuff after the 60's and onward contains stuff I enjoy putting Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry aside) energy and clever stupidity that I enjoy dearly.

Norm and Dave have great comedic chemistry. Norm is a better Bill Murray (except with a significantly lower "I don't give a shit, give me money" attitude) as he has the Jerry Seinfeld syndrome of having a grin all the time. But he's a decent actor even if he over acts sometimes and Dave is still Dave. Which is good. I like Dave's stuff, even his "newer" more chill self as seen in the Netflix specials.

Sarah Silverman, the supposed comedian, has no funny lines or just basically does nothing except act as a minor supporting role, and that's a good thing.

Gay Sherman Hemsley? Great.

The lady who played Miss Crock was the over the top mean bitch and that got a kick outta me. Danny Devito plays proto Frank and does a good job being a weirdo as usual.

Plot is simple but the twists and turns are amist. The jokes are hit and miss ofc, but they mostly hit for me. The only parts where I didn't really laugh like, at all were the parts with Silverman.

I can't see how this failed and something like Scary Movie succeeded, not to say Scary Movie was bad, I thought the first three were alright as a kid, but it aged worse than Screwed, where it seemed to have the need to tell a joke every few seconds, but Screwed was more laid back in comparison.

An example would be that for a movie in that era of moronic comedy, it seemed to have only like two or three jokes that were toilet humor related, which is surprising. The dog poop and the Is that urine? part are the only ones that were in. And they weren't overly long gags, just short and sweet.

The only long gag was the Dog bites Man scene, but it was still shorter than any Family Guy cutaway gag.

I wouldn't say it's one of my top favorite movies, but it's on some nonexistent list I have.

I don't want to give you much detail, but it's on Netflix. So if you like dumb comedy that doesn't insult your intelligence, this is the one.

That's why the award shows ratings keep sinking like a rock

>have an award
>whine for years that your award cermonies have too many white people because everything else sucks even harder
>turn your award into a special needs participation trophy

Looking forward to the Oscar going to a bunch of indie movies that nobody has ever heard of. Or maybe they'll just give it to foreign movies from now on

I'm sure it'll be a runaway success at the box office. All the other woke movies sold so well.

I am looking forward to quality articles about how all dem white nazis are shaking in their Springerstiefel over this stunning and brave display of black power.

(Bonus points if they deliberately forget about Black Panther to herald the new first black capeshit movie all over again.)
