This is a Fuck the Police movie, white 'Nam vet division.

I feel there ought to be a parallel universe where First Blood developed into a franchise about Stallone fucking up cops instead of foreigners. Maybe we'll get that with a reboot or something.

With an all black cast. Surprised they haven't do so already. It won't be as timeless as Black Panther, but it should win some sort of Academy Award.

You really have to hardly change a thing. The rural backwoods hick-cops and their attitudes. The black Rambo either a veteran with Afghanistan flashbacks or just being tortured by random inner city SWAT.
Samuel L. Jackson then shows up as Nick Fury to take him back as a soldier to the Social Justice Wars after first burning down the town completely.

The Hunt is pretty good. Gory, funny, and lots of surprising deaths. Emma Roberts is in the movie two minutes despite what the advertising said. Dennis Reynolds, the Golden God himself, is one of the villains.

Tl, dr: Movie was delayed because faggot conservatives heard it was about hunting Cheeto supporters and threw a hissy fit while sucking off cops. Stupid fucks didn't bother to find out the "deplorables" being hunted are the good guys.

There's only one The Hunt. In the past decade only Danish were capable delivering good movies. The Hunt, Drive and The House That Jack Built. Strange, but true.

Rewatched The Fellowship of the Ring, it's been +10 years since I last saw it and it felt surprisingly fresh and lacked many problems the subsequent movies had. Elijah Wood always felt like the weakest part of the trilogy, but he's quite OK in this one. There's also much more charm in Ian McKellen's acting here compared to two other parts. Sean Bean is amazing, once it was strange to see Boromir as Eddard Stark, now it was strange to see Eddard Stark as Boromir. His death scene is excellent, well, dying is Bean's expertise anyway. No virtue signalling, zero niggers. Added Arwen felt more like an attempt to pander the female audience rather than "we need to have strrrünk webyn". 20 years ago the Hollywood machine was able to create blockbusters that's reminiscent of art. 10/10 and easily the best of the three.

However, the Ringwraiths are a fucking joke here. All nine so easily defeated by just one man (Aragorn), it is quite nonsensical compared to how just one of them defeats Gandalf later, and the way Arwen obliterates them.. And why the fuck does Arwen care about Frodo so much? She's all devastated when he supposedly dies. Oh well, there must be some coarseness on every diamond.

I think that's more the script than McKellen. Even in the books, Gandalf doesn't really chill as the White. He has to assume the authority that Saruman pissed away.
