Re: Allison in Applebee's Hell: The Lupa Thread
This proves he is the real deal and not making shit up since it matches what we have known. Especially the part of them being in little cliques, Dr Gonzo who wasn't apart of any of them gave shit to every damn group. Lordkat said it was like fucking high school as well, I think a big reason these pricks lurk here is because they all secretly hate each other and enjoy threads that aren't there's.pibbs wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 8:39 amFrom that foxdickfarms post from the guy that worked on ATOP the 4th Wall movie. His observation of Lupa on "To Boldly Flee".
The other cast members were like wrangling children at a daycare center, which is more accurate than you think. I have worked on multiple productions from small internet movies to television series, and I've never seen a bigger group of pre-madonnas. In the cast room where the actors would stay when they weren't on camera, they kept getting so loud, that the only way to make sure they were keeping their voices low as not to ruin takes, we had to place a baby monitor in their room. I mean a literal baby monitor, so they could hear when the director yelled action.
It got very disturbing when we could hear on the baby monitor cast members talk horrible things about their fellow actors whenever one would leave the room. Particularly Allison Pregler and her group, who wasted no time making fun of Matthew Buck's voice when he left to use the restroom. Allison was one of the hardest to work with, as every piece of direction was like pulling teeth. She caused a scene when she had to come back to the set for a pick up shot (which is normal on a movie shoot) and she committed the one sin crew members hate. If you're an actor, you never ever complain about having to come back for a pick up shot in front of a crew that works 100x harder and has been there longer than you.
It was a cut throat set, it was like stories you hear about narcissistic actors stabbing each other in the back, but rarely do you actually see it like this. It's been rumored that people like Sad Panda and Allison were trying to get Blockbuster Buster fired because they thought his content "made them look bad and was dated." This is true, I saw it happen, and it happened more than once. People like Doge and Rob Walker stuck up for Eric, and to Linkara's credit, he stuck up for him too.
They truly are all like typical women, none of them actually like each other but pretend to be friendly once in the group.
When the hell did he get a spine? At the time, Allison hated Tony Goldmark because he called her toxic, so she was always trashing him on set.

People like Lupa are easy to defeat with a pocket recorder.
Funny story, in the first few seasons of Mythbusters, a producer did the same kind of shit trying to create a feud between Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. Adam and Jamie finally sat down, compared notes, and realized they were both being played, so they went to Discovery and said "remove this troublemaker", which Discovery did.
They never said who the producer was, but Adam slipped and said "She" when recounting the story once or twice. Also, Adam and Jamie were never really friends and in fact constantly bickered without need of prodding. They did however have a baseline of professionalism and mutual professional respect, so that's why the two of them were able to sit down, compare notes, and realized a producer was trying to turn them against eachother.
I'm guessing the CA guys lacked that much, which is why Lupa and her ilk were able to play them like a fiddle.

I suppose it helps if you're not a barely functioning manchild.

To be fair, they were a bunch of 20-somethings who never worked a day in their live back then (except for Obscurus Karen, who was already in her 480's, but pretending to be in her 20s. Must have recently completed the blood ritual).VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 12:08 pmI suppose it helps if you're not a barely functioning manchild.
The Mythbusters guys were adults with life experience and careers who applied their professionalism to get over personal friction (which then turned out to be fabricated). There are several stories about famous bands that fell out but left that shit in the green room and then put their game face on and just performed. Because that is their job.
CA needed a proper boss and maybe a few adults (in HR or an accountant or whatever) as a support structure to keep the children in check. Instead, Doge was in over his head and the behind the scenes jobs went to the even less talented friends of the on screen children.

Reminder that less than a month ago this virtue-signaling twat was calling the police because she wanted them to break up and arrest people for a simple gathering near her house.

Adam and Jamie were never friends. They knew each other due to both working in props and special effects. But beyond that, Jamie and Adam never hung out off work, had dinner, played chess, etc off work.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 2:29 pmTo be fair, they were a bunch of 20-somethings who never worked a day in their live back then (except for Obscurus Karen, who was already in her 480's, but pretending to be in her 20s. The producer in question was one of the people partially responsible for the meteoritic rise of American Chopper in the early 00s. It's theorized this producer did the same thing with the teutals and kept stoking strife between them.
Why someone wanted to turn mythbusters into another American Chopper is beyond me. Luckily, unlike a redneck family in upstate New York, the mythbusters had enough professionalism to have a discussion and figure out they were played.
CA producers are far more easily tricked.

She's not wrong to ponder on those details.

A broken clock is right twice per day, or thrice according to her strange, ancient clock (FilmBald, ERod, Tony).
