I imagine the Spoony movie would be more like Weekend at Bernie's, except Spoony isn't dead, he's just so lazy and apathetic that other people have to move him around like a ventriloquist's dummy. Could even turn into a road trip movie where Brad and Cuckson have to transport Spoony from Illinois to Arizona. Maybe they run out of gas in the middle of nowhere and have to figure out how to survive until help comes. The movie could end with the police arriving on scene to find that Brad has killed and eaten Cuckson. But when he tried to take a little meat from one of Spoony's legs (I know, it's a bit of a stretch to think anyone would eat Spoony to survive,) he died of the filth from Spoony's flesh and blood. But somehow, Spoony has lived through all of it and bitches incessantly about muh severed leg as they load him up in the ambulance and drive away.

Obviously you can't portray him realistically. If you did that you might as well film a rock for two ours. In an empty, white room because in nature a bug might land on it and make it too exciting.
No, you have to go all out and have him snap into a murderous frenzy. We're trying to make a movie, not a documentary.
