We've talked about DBZ in the past. It's one of those shows that runs on pure nostalgia these days. Toriyama didn't want to write it past Frieza, and it's debatable how good it was even as a shounen past Demon King Piccolo in the original Dragon Ball. But it was a lot of people's first shounen animu and they bonded with it. So that's perfect for TFS because they were probably a lot of people's first exposure to fan comedy dubs and now they're running on pure nostalgia as well.

Oddly enough, Wit didn't tolerate their shit when it came to abridging Attack on Titan, but Toei allows them to keep doing DBZ.

Attack on Titan is srs bsns. You do not abridge it.

DBZ on the other hand runs on pure nostalgia (as already said), and probably even Toei knows it ain't high art. Some more publicity from some jockels can't hurt.

Though by that logic, I'm baffled as to why LittleKuriboh kept getting shut down. His show was like the best publicity for YGO.

In the past, 4kids was really into keeping their properties kid friendly to an insane level. LK used to make gay jokes and shit, so that was probably one of the main reasons he got taken down.

People have often made the claim that Toriyama wanted to end it after Frieza... but I do not believe any actual source has ever been provided. As far as I can tell, that's an urban legend.

To be fair, it wouldn't be tremendously surprising to me if he never went past first or second base with Liz, but that may come from my natural aversion to having "Linkara" and "sexual intercourse" in the same thought.
