Nope. He used to respond to criticism with "It was only $64k and therefore shouldn't be judged as a real movie" or something like that. It was the same line he used whenever someone criticised the specials, "we didn't have time or money" is his normal defence.

And as was said by someone else, I'm pretty sure he's just saying Lightbringer is shit because he's heard it from enough people. I mean, he kept trying to make it a hit until 2012. You don't spend six years on something without expecting it to take off. Notice how he never admits similar things about how the Vyce arc makes him such a Mary Sue, or the fact that he declared himself 'Champion of Earth' or such shit.

$64k and shouldn't be judged as a real movie? One of my favorite movies, The Taint, was made for less than $10k and is one of the most entertaining fucking films I've ever seen in my goddamn life. It's just that Linkara sucks as much at making movies as he does at making/reviewing comics, fuck him.

If you were to walk up to him and say "Lightbringer is a work of genius" he would instantly light up and gush about how he's proud of it. He'll never change.

Someone should ask if they can have permission to write a Lightbringer story because they really like the character and thought there was missed potential. Also, did he have any stories he wanted to do but couldn't? He would lap that up.

No he doesn't, because people didn't want to fund his new book and I'm pretty sure he don't want to fight with the DMCA claim bot anymore (#WTFU). I'm pretty sure he run the infomercialism format to the ground some time ago as well.
Lately he started going into clickbait/drama/politics (I'm pretty sure Trump and BrExit broke him) and the Nigel Farage pen thing is the moment I give up. Ashen was able to keep up the cheap crap video's a little bit more entertaining for a way longer time.

The only fun thing about Farage is how Ukip kept having to draft him back in as a leader after stepping down because the party kept going to shit without him.
