Twitter addiction is real and Spoony may very well be the OG case. It's hard to imagine anything that has fucked his life up more than Twitter and his own ego. Those two make for a killer khambo.

Before Noah needed to write a video, record it, edit it, then post it, then get the attention feedback he craves. Now he can just tap a few things on his phone and presto same effect.

And it's clear that feeding his ego is his main goal here and he doesn't treat or think of it as a job. If he did, he would take the Frustrated Phillipe route and make regular videos and chase trends. I'm certain that with weekly vlogs and a once a month more refined video he would make a very comfortable middle class life and he would still have his elf-girl.

Guess who actually made it on Jimmy Fallon? Joji went from Internet fandom to having a real fandom as a musician. Noah always wanted to make the transition to "real" fame and desperately wanted to get onto talk shows as a guess. That's why he got so depressed at his e-fame going nowhere as he saw it only as a stepping stone to greater things not something in and of himself. Of course he somehow expected Hollywood casting agents to just show up at his door and hire him so his entire strategy made zero sense.

Old youtube, and I mean old youtube, wasn't that big. A big viral video would get 1 million views. AVGN was the biggest of the game-reviewers, but Spoony was the 2nd tier below that for 2007-2009. If the Ol Spoonster had a regular work ethic I think he could be bigger than Angry Joe is today.
