I'll say it again: You can't just move to Japan and live there. That's not a thing. That's nothing special either because that's how most nations work. The fact that she can't speak Japanese is proof enough she never took an emigration test or anything like that. You can only stay there indefinitely if you've got a job over there and came to the country in the first place for the job. You can't just fly there and get a job because you're a tourist and you're not allowed to work there as one.

Go ahead and try that shit with most other nations. Fly to Russia with next to no language knowledge and see if they just let you stay. Go to Canada and just stay there. See how long it takes for you to get deported. Now imagine that 99% of the population hates you from the moment they see you.
