That... and it was lame. I feel bad for having her given a view (though Brad still has 7 times the views on that video), but I was curious. I watched quite a bit of the old Obscurus Lupa staff during CA times, but only the occasional "Movie Nights" and this is a typical reason why: It is bland and boring.
The Cinema Snob episode was not great entertainment either, but there were 0.7 units of effort in there, compared to Lupa's 0 effort. This is how you squander the opportunity when you "struck gold" in the shit movie mine? I would not be shocked if it turned out Lupa heard Brad was working on this and tried to undercut him, but it backfired and now she is constructing herself as a victim of fate colluding with that evil Brad again.

A search for the movies she does on the Tube or whatever brings up others first who get a lot more views. Each year she gets further and further buried down.


You could argue that one way to keep yourself on the top is to constantly search for stuff no one else does. Hey, guess what the word "Obscure" means, ya dumb broad! It means very few people even give a shit about wanting to know about it in the first place.
You could do reviews about old Campbell's Soup cans and ensure the number one spot. Congrats, you have an audience of 1,800 single women with no income. Watch the ad revenue FLOW.
