An Illinois man who was obsessed with the president confessed to shooting his estranged girlfriend and their pets on Twitter — and blamed the National Rifle Association for his actions.
Noah Antwiler, 39, has been arrested for the murder of his estranged partner April, a shirt folder, their dalmatian, Oreo, and a pet cat on Thursday morning at their home in Aurora, Illinois.
Antwiler is currently hospitalized and in critical condition from what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
In the immediate aftermath of the murders, a Twitter account linked to a phone number and email address belonging to Antwiler tweeted confessions at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the NRA, and President Donald Trump.
The tweets were sent Thursday morning just after 3 a.m. and gunshots were heard by Heimsoth’s neighbors at approximately 2:45 a.m.
