ROTJ isn't bad. Death Star 2 was lazy but otherwise it was a good movie by 1983 standards.

It's not 'bad' but it's severely lacking. Like I said, a third of it is a good movie. The opening with Jabba the Hut and everything with Luke, Vader and Palpatine was gold. That should have been the whole movie.
