A shining example of Brad’s IRL snobbery was him criticizing Rooster Queef’s Lazer Team. Sure I don’t like them, but they made an actual fucking movie that Brad has the balls to compare to his own movies and say that he could do better. The screening is probably out there still, it was during the Violet era.

I haven't seen a lot of his recent stuff - I'd argue mainly because he's been repeating himself thematically and with his characters. The Mule had a real feeling of 'been there done that.'
I remember liking American Sniper - I haven't seen it since theaters but I thought the movie was fine.
