I haven't seen it, but I know Jason Momoa was in it. Momoa's a good enough actor for it, how did they fuck it up?VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 5:50 pmBut instead they apparently consider it easier to turn every movie release into some kind of ideological war between the forces of Good and Evil.Certainly a better Conan flick than the actual Conan reboot.

Re: Movie Thread
(Tbf I haven't seen the movie in fucking ages. Though I seem to recall it not being nearly as bloody as say Conan the Barbarian.)

Re: Movie Thread
Jason MoMo is in fact a godawful actor. NuConan is okay, but it gets compared to the old movie and everyone gets all faggy and hysterical and says it's the worst thing ever. Fact: hottie Rachel Nichols used a body double for the sex scene because she went to Harvard and is better than you, but ended up getting leaked in the Fappening just a while later.

I barely remember seeing it. I kmow it had old, beat-up Rose McGowan in it playing Freddy Kruger. That's about it.

Re: Movie Thread
I saw it, because I was watching Conan movies and I thought 'Eh, the hell with it' and regret seeing it. Or, I would regret it more if it were memorable enough to merit such strong regret.
Thing I'll say about it is that Momoa had neither the build nor the charisma to properly pull off Conan.

The Rock yeah. Arnold and Sly, there's your shit taste showing again. Arnold may lack a certain Shakespearean quality but he makes up for that by having a fuckton of charisma in addition to being well built. Stallone has/had some acting ability (see: First Blood) but chooses to make shit instead

Re: Movie Thread
The Howie Long movie Firestorm was going to star Stallone and make him the first $20 million actor before Savoy went bankrupt. Long is a better actor than Moe Moe Dudebro.

When he did that fucking Tay-Tay rant in the last Furious movie I finally realized he's a one-trick pony and wouldn't mind never seeing him ever again. Props though for making a career on raising one eyebrow.
