Bombshell is pure propaganda. In the trailer, Roger Ailes basically tells Kayla (Margot Robbie) to suck his dick for a promotion and we're supposed to be appalled, blah blah blah. Except her character is fictional and it never happened, but they try to trick you by mixing her with real people: "Nicole Kidman is Gretchen! Charlie Theron is Megyn! Margot Robbie is Kayla!" Obviously, it's going to bomb, but they're counting on everyone who sees an ad to think Orange Man Bad, toxic white males, much tampons!

The directors who get the most publically snippy, and quick to invoke "progressive" politics, when their film bombs always seem to be peddling in the most shitty, corporate, useless, unasked-for remakes and reboots.

I could ALMOST sympathize if Paul Feig or Elizabeth Banks tried to give us something ambitious and unique and original and it failed.

But thats not what's going on here. They're offering us cheap pieces of Hollywood plastic (Feig's "Ghostbusters" is LOADED with product placement!) and then calling us sexist when we reject it.

Feig's a hack who found a niche as the "woman's director". Anyway, he just did Last Christmas, which I almost saw because of Emilia Clarke.

I'm sick of Dwayne Johnson. He's old, he's boring and one note. What was his last decent movie, The Rundown? At least Arnold was in real films before he started going for paychecks.

Yeah, they're doing a bunch of stuff about Fox Jews because Roger Ailes is dead and can't sue them and because they're still pissed and seething that he managed to do exactly the same shit that they do but be more successful at it because he wasn't pandering to a crowded, mature market.

Doom was cool. He wasn't the lead though and didn't really do anything memorable. Rosamund Pike's bouncing melons had more charisma.
