Just came back from Joker. It was really good, not a god tier capefilm like Danger: Diabolik, but might say it was the best lollywood capeshit ever. Joaquin Phoenix, he's the shit. Excellent soundtrack, it was really a bliss to hear those haunting melodies coming from the cinema speakers. The scene where he is dancing after those metro killings was pure movie magic. 9/10

Everything about it (from the illegal Mexican savior, future is female, no difference between the sexes, motherhood is dumb, the Terminator is a cuck) make it come off like a deliberate "fuck you" to America and Western values. Soviet propagandists couldn't have made a more offensive movie.

I saw T3 in theaters and I thought it was way too campy and joke-y for a Terminator film. The next two movies sounded like garbage so I ignored them and this new one seems exactly like the kind of schlock I expect from a movie studio in 2019 so it is an easy skip.
Hopefully this poor performance nukes the franchise for good. Although I'm sure the IP owners are more likely to switchover to lower budget direct-to-streaming stuff where they can make the Terminators white supremacists and make Skynet run by Republicans and the human Resistance is made up of genderfluid latinx people that use wisdom and Home Alone traps instead of guns.
