Its fucked how Transformers, Disney and capeshit have changed the industry, studios can just pass over burgerland audiences 90% of the time and make a profit off the Chinese, doesn't matter if its a movie that people want to watch.

The Chinese did save Blade Runner 2049 from bombing tho, so that was nice of them.

Why would you want to bring anybody from the original Shining back? Most are ghosts and shouldn't age at all.

I guess it just somehow makes it very slightly valid?

Define validity. It's "valid" as far as those things go. It's just unnecessary and it'll always be just that no matter who they drag away from the grave for a few minutes worth of footage.

But you can always just hit that "edit" button and replace the duplicate text with a dirty limerick.

When there are successive posts, yeah. But what I've seen a lot of users do when they've realised they've double posted is edit the first post and go 'Oop, I've double posted. Pls delete' when they could just delete the second post

Going to see The Lighthouse today. Surprised it's even playing anywhere near me. I was under the impression that this would be a limited release or something. A movie that would only play in L.A. and New York. I love black and white movies, but then again, I'm old and crusty.
