Because its complete fag bait. A farcical fantasy hoo-ha hee-hee Agatha Christie LARPing whodunit that has no relevance or meaning to anyone living in the real world.

The genre peaked with the 1972 Sleuth movie and Murder by Death in 1975. Hell even the Clue movie will be better than this.
There's a reason why no good movies in the genre have been made in 40 years.

Modern normies will probably wonder why they can't solve the murder right away with an app highlighting clues.

Murder By Death was probably the best sendoff any genre could possibly ask for. It had Peter Falk, after all.

Yesterday I went on a Scorsese marathon and watched Taxi Driver and Raging Bull again and for the first time, Mean Streets. Pretty good movies, and Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci do an excellent job as always. Then comes American Psycho. Holy shit is that movie fucking great. Would type an essay about how good it is.
