Then I can only assume they got turned into vampires over a decade ago.

Besson's probably banging the Christian Ricci lookalike. That's how he did it on The Fifth Element with Jovovich.

Star Wars doesn't excuse the '70s at all. It never will. It never has. Worst decade in world history.

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

Only vicariously. Star Wars gets away with it because it's sci-fi portraying another galaxy. Otherwise there would be bell bottoms and disco everywhere.

Also extended driving scenes and sitting in an office.

Sometimes she looks really good. Genuine two-face.

Saw Atomic Blonde, aka The Spy Who Ate Me. It's a solid B. The action scenes are brutal and easy to follow, with Charlize more of a brawler than John Wick. There's also not a lot of gunplay, so the Wick style of punch-headshot, grapple-headshot, is avoided here.

There's plenty of nudity, with Charlize making her first appearance with a tit shot then a nice long ass shot. The sex scene was also pretty good, with lots of lez kissing and nudity toward the end. (If it had gone on another 30 seconds or so it would have been an all-time classic.) Expect lots of nufag criticism of the "male gaze" on this one.

It's not John Wick, though. It's a spy thriller with about 4 short to lengthy fight scenes.

Texas Chainsaw remake was pretty piss-poor. I liked the made-up police footage(one of the few occasions I thought found footage was chilling) and there's some cool new family members like Hartman from Full Metal Jacket...

but otherwise, messy and forgettable. And the new Leatherface was boring af.
