They certainly interacted more with each other. Or maybe it just feels like that considering the middle portion of the movie has them mostly going on a solo adventure.

I also have the nagging suspicion they might try to film a prequel to explain why It fell in love with Bob Gray aka IRL Pennywise. Because that totally needs answering.

Thought the biggest wtf was probably the epilogue, which featured a post-mortem letter from Stan where he explains that he ACTUAL LEE performed a tactical an heroing.

That was incredibly awkward and nonsensical. It's been a long ass time since I read the book, but I don't think that scene is in it at all.

That's because it isn't. They had to include his suicide, but then they had to add something to make it more noble and less cowardly.
Considering adult Bowers doesn't actually hospitalize anyone in this version, it might've been better if Stan didn't an hero in order to get shanked by him.

Pretty much. That's all anyone ever talks about when discussing the 1990 miniseries. Tim Curry is wonderful, but his Pennywise is amongst the best performances of his career. I guess there's just something about playing a demented clown that brings out the best in actors.

A bit of a missed opportunity how such a scene (aka Pennywise in broad daylight, with nobody but the Losers able to perceive him or his antics) doesn't really exist in the new movies. The closest scene was one from Chaper Two, but all the normies were just hypnotized / frozen background blokes.
