Yeah, Ty is fucking up. I thought that reading about how he biffed the releasing of the affidavits, Huber's in particular seemed *especially* important and he just whiffed the ball and now it can't be used. There are perks, though. The case is still going, and it doesn't sound like Marchi is getting attorney's fees paid for.

I don't think this will all go 100% one way or the other. Like Marzgunt was always ambitious, after this first round, Sabat, Schemmel and more Funi people in round 2, the press in round 3 and probably even conventions in round 4 you could have been talking about a theoretical fourth or fifth round of lawsuits. And while I think Sabat and co. will be sued, most of the evidence seems to point to him being a lot smarter than Rial or Toye, so the odds of a deposition for him, seem, while not impossible, unlikely. Even Spergetta admitted the depos of Toye and Rial shouldn't have happened.

All that said, I would be shocked if every charge were dismissed. You've got a judge that is more politically in line with Ty (people will say that doesn't matter until the cows come home, it does) than the goobers on the other side *and*, at least for Ron Toye, there's a lot of evidence for defamation ranging from those tweets to a pretty fucking embarrassing deposition.
