Finally saw The 13th Floor twenty years after it's release and was pleasantly surprised. It's one of those digital internet world movies that The Matrix stole from. Gretchen Mol was fucking hot, and it had a nice little twist at the end, though their version of 2024 is hilariously hopeful and unwoke.

Best part of Matrix 4, which is apparently only being written and directed by one of the Troon brothers, will be figuring out which classic action and sci-fi movies it steals from.

The Wachowski bros were ahead of the curve when it comes to woke shit: in The Matrix, Switch was going to be male in the real world and female in the matrix. Also, from what I've heard, Sense8 (a Netflix show the bros did a few years ago) was ultra-woke. The main cast of the show included a tranny, a gay Mexican, and many other minorities. I'm fully expecting The Matrix 4 to be insufferably woke.
