Cinematography and Connery aside, not really. Live And Let Die is lively and fun though. Goofy as fuck, but entertaining.

Re: Movie Thread
People still care about Bond after Austin Powers?
(Also Matrix 4 will feature a new chosen one that is a body-positive trans-latina.)
They have to be excited. They would be branded as transphobic if they said anything bad about this upcoming movie.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 1:36 amWhy are they excited? They hated the sequels with a passion.

Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: Movie Thread
The world agreed in 2003 that any further Austin Powers would be outlawed. Which is a good thing, as you could imagine all the shitty reboots/sequels that would have come out today.
Live and Let Die has a good opening song, and the part where he's in blaxploitation 70s America is priceless. "Names is for tombstones," indeed. After that scene, you can change the channel with missing much. [Unless you want to see the goofy villain deaths later on.]

...and still: Spoony did nothing.
Re: Movie Thread
You're forgetting all the voodoo hoodoo and Bond running across the backs of a bunch of gators, which the stunt man actually did. Live and Let Die is pretty solid Bond camp.Tony Schiavone wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 5:59 pmThe world agreed in 2003 that any further Austin Powers would be outlawed.
