I watched the movie, here are my gay thoughts about it.

The jabs at #complicit were mostly weaksauce. Just like Brad on Twitter, you admire that he does it at all but he’s too much of a bitch to do it well.

The cinematography is fine but Ryan is still an incompetent director. During the Lloyd Kaufman cameo I was wondering if Lloyd just shot it himself and sent it to them. But no, Brad is in the same room as him, Ryan just didn’t think to film a wide shot or change camera angles.

Pre-SJW Brad would’ve shown Laura’s boobs.

Even grading on a curve Rob is just fucking terrible. What was that fucking voice supposed to be, an imitation of Brad? He sucks.

Tamara is the best actor here which is kind of sad.

Making a sequel to the Cinema Snob Movie highlights the fact that like, two people from the original are still on speaking terms with Brad. That’s why I believe Lupa when she says he didn’t really want to make this.

The first movie at least tied its themes of appreciating exploitation movies into the murder mystery. What does all the crap about evil clowns have to do with the “overcoming self-doubt” stuff here? There’s no flow or structure to the thing, it’s like Brad wrote it in a day to try and pocket the crowdfunding money. Oh wait, he did.

Right, that's pretty much what his show is (or mostly was until he started doing the other crap)and he didn't utilize it here.

He already parodied Christploitation in Jesus Bro and all those other exploitation stuff in his other movies, so why didn't he make a plot were he loses his job and has to act in a series of degrading things?

Why didn't he make a sex tape plot that parodies Bat Pussy as a sex tape gone wrong?

Why didn't he just parody some "wholesome" children's programming? Not this killer klown bullshit!


This isn't a good sequel to the first one and is inferior to the 1st, which isn't saying much as that movie was mediocre. His money could have gone to his other movie ideas like that "childhood Caligula movie he always wanted to make".

Maybe he could've done it when he made his Caligula review in 2010. The first movie came out in 2012, and Spoony had a costume. He definitely can't do it now unless he's going to do sort of a one man show.

Brad 2019 seems to exist in a completely different reality than Brad 2012. The 1st movie was rubbish, but at least it felt like an attempt at making a genuine movie. Unlike all the TGWTG crap at the time, it had tits, it had a storyline with a theme, Brad showcased a genuine love of exploitation throughout.

Another Cinema Snob Movie just shows how CA has infected him through osmosis - it's sanitized, goofy and extremely unsubtle. And apart from the tangential relation to CTC, Brad's interests don't even seem to be part of the story this time. The movie could've been about him rediscovering a forgotten love for exploitation that was buried under the necessity to keep up a Youtube channel. He could've made losing his friends a part of the character instead of just pretending they never existed.

Instead, Brad comes across like he's just moved on from exploitation entirely and it's not even clear why he wants to make movies apart from "I don't wanna be the Cinema Snob forevah". Why does he have an agent in-universe when he's still a Youtuber?
