Okay one last thing from Johnston. He points to the letter that was sent to Marchi to preserve the communications. He asked Vic since you asked them preserve their communications shouldn't you do it as well. Vic says I guess. Then Johnston satlys okay and that he is finished with questioning. I guess that lawyer wants to use that Vic was destroying evidence but there should have been a counter by the other lawyers for that.

Now the final part is Funi's lawyer, John Volney. Let's get this out of the way. It is obvious that he was hired recently by them. Just the way he can't pronounce the name of the actors and such. Example he says Rial as Rye Al.

So they first go over the social media frenzy in the beginning before Vic's firing. Volney asks Vic if he talked to anyone at Funimation about it. Vic says yes, he talked to Justin Cook about it during the time he was doing his lines for Mononoke. Vic said Cook agreed it was nonsense and pretty much said not to worry. A few days later, HR person at Funi calls Vic and tells him Sony wants to talk with him. So the investigator calls him to talk about the 3 complaints and tells him that they would call back after the investigation is completed. He gets a call from her and another person from Sony who he doesn't know who informs him that he was fired.

Vic was shocked because at worst he thought he would be on probation and any other complaints after that he would be fired. He again brings up that the investigator said there will be no public statements about this. Then of course did out one out.

Then Volney tries to say that the statement doesn't say sexual harassment just harassment as if to say they aren't responsible. Make me laugh since what was the shit storm about. Everyone would think sexual. Then he says the tweet with harassment doesn't mention Vic but Vic counters back that any reasonable person would think so.

Then Volney tries to say that Funi can't be held responsible for any cons cancelling before his firing which Vic says that's not true. If they called cons saying get rid of me they will be responsible for that. Volney says can you at least assume. Vic pretty much says Hell no. I will never assume that.

Volney is asked if he has proof. Vic says not yet but he has heard rumblings about this pressure on cons not to have him. He especially heard a huge sponser, I am guessing from Soye from the stories, doing this. So Volney asks which people precisely would do this. Vic points to Soye, Rial, and Marchi saying they were using Funimation this and that in their tweets saying that a reasonable would think Funi is doing shady shit behind the scenes. He points out a lot of people didn't like him and wanted to get rid of him. Volney asks who are those people. First person Vic says is Sabat. He points out he has a lot of weight at Funi. Sabat has been there the longest and Funi outsources the voice work to his studio Okratron 5000. So yeah to the morons who think Vic has the power, Sabat does he controls who voices what.

Volney asks for more names and Vic is hesitant at first but the Volney says the bridges are already burning down let's get the rest of the names which Vic does.

He names Marchi, Rial, J Michael Tatum, Mike McFarland, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Damen Mills, and Sean Schemmel.

Vic points out that Funi doesn't get that these VAs have been employed by them for years that if they start talking then people will see Funimation.

Volney asks if Soye is a VA. Vic says no. He is then asked if he knows where he works and Vic says I don't know. I don't really know the guy. He is just Monica's boyfriend. That is all I know about him.

Then Volney l finally asks if Monica is a VA only and Vic says no. She does way more like directing. Volney asked like you? Vic says yes.

And that is all the questions. Deposition is over. I really love Vic BTFOing Soye at the end. It was beautiful.

Vic did a great job and looks honest compared to the snakes.

Just skipping around, the whole thing seems pretty dry and basic with some big moments in between bullshit.

What'd be hilarious is if Marzgurl had to do one of these, she'd probably break down in tears within five minutes.
