Linkara was a piece of shit who fetishised the fuck out of her but didn't want to have an actual adult relationship because he is still mentally a child. As I suspected, she too thinks he is on the spectrum. I'm convinced he legit has Aspergers, he exhibits a lot of the signs like having fuck all empathy for others, not understanding how social interactions and people work as proven by Lightbringer and despite being a comedian he doesn't really get comedy. Him getting angry as fuck about someone interrupting his routine (Voltage Vengers HAS NO SET SCHEDULE) is another thing.

Confession time, I am on the specturm, but only mildly with ADD. The difference between the 3 (autism, Aspergers and ADD) is that with ADD we understand social interactions and all that shit, we are just fucking terrible at execution. Unless it is about something we give a shit about, then we will talk like a normal person but we are no fucking good at small talk and pretending to care about something, even if we try to.

With Aspergers people with it appear the same as people with ADD, but they like Linky they don't get people at all, even if you explain it clearly to them they think what your saying makes no sense. Sheldon from Big Bang Theory is an over the top example of that. Unlike people with full blown autism, you can have a coherent conversation with them at least.

With Autism you can't have a coherent conversation with them, they go on weird tangents and you end up thinking "WTF is he on about" when talking to them. Guru Larry's interview with Chris Chan is you typical conversation with one, they are frustrating to even be around.

All 3 have similar traits like getting in routines and getting shitty when someone interrupts them, social retardation and a lack of empathy, but with each one it gets more extreme. For example, I get Linkara getting shitty at a routine being broken because I do a little when that happens but I keep it to myself because after a while I realise how irrational it is to get shitty. Spergs have no self awareness and will legit get angry/annoyed (think "you're in my spot" with Sheldon), while someone with Autism will start screaming like someone stole their car and burned their house.

This is why I KNOW Linkara is a real sperg, he has some of the traits I have but WAY more extreme, even compared to how I was as a kid since I was considered very borderline Aspergers/ADD then but they couldn't classify me as a sperg. I had therapy for that shit as a kid, pretty much all the aspergers symptoms I had (when I looked at them I noticed their were a few I used to have, like not looking people in the eye when I talk to them) are now gone and working out from age 18 helped a lot as well (shortly after going to the gym, people in high school told me I was talking more). Now if I was considered borderline as a kid, and I was no where near as socially retarded as Lewis, there is no fucking way he doesn't have Aspergers.

I was a bigger sperg when I was a kid, especially around 13-14, I would get fixated on an idea and not be able to let it go, my ability to read social situations was shit, and I was quiet as fuck but when someone mentioned a topic I knew, I dominated the conversation. I kind of grew out of it, though apparently barely anyone noticed since I sperged about the stuff that was popular at the time, so people assumed I was being friendly and using that shit as an ice breaker. I saw a therapist a few times, but apparently I'm fine.

One of the things I noticed in a lot of people with similar symptoms is their ego prevents them from acknowledging that there's a problem. Last year I had to fire a guy who exhibited all the traits and it was causing problems in the work place because he was pissing everyone off. So I brought up the problem to him and asked if he'd like to see the counsellor who got me sorted. The dude had a tantrum right then and there about how he was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong with him, which is hard to buy coming from a guy screaming like a toddler.

I'd say Lewis is one of those people who was told therapy is only for the crazies. But it could also be he was picked on at school for being weird. Like that story Ben told where he got made fun of for liking Power Rangers and then refused to ever talk about the Sentai series it was based on in his retrospectives. It wouldn't surprise me if he won't go see someone because he doesn't want to admit the 'bullies' were right about him. Or that it'll turn out he is 'crazy.'

I have a hard time differentiating the spectrum disorders. They seem to run in my family, sadly. What you said about being totally unempathetic and the complete lack of social graces describes my dad to the T. I had a horrible childhood because of this.
I have some spergish traits, but I don't know if it's by nature or by nurture.
