We can say he doesn't succeed because of lack of talen or ego, but really it's the fact that he doesn't try right? He'd rather market shitty "80s home movie" type films to his fanbase than actually try to make his way into the industry. How sad is it that he's FRIENDS with people who are in the industry, people he could get an in with and he never does it. Never even tries too.

For instance Brad your friend worked on Sharknado right? How come you aren't jumping at the chance to be part of that production crew? Maybe build some experience or make more connections? It's just common sense right? It's like how Linkara will never actually try to work in comics even if he was friends with Gail Simone. They just don't want to take that leap.

Brad's ego isn't the biggest obstacle to his success in making movies. His biggest obstacle is his complete lack of talent. His videos all look like shit. Shit quality, shit framing, shit audio and even worse plotting. Doesn't matter if it's a review, a car video or a feature film, it looks like shit.

A bit of both. Some of the technical problems you listed could be avoided if he worked harder to become more professional and skilled. Or get an someone with talent to help with stuff he sucks at. But since has to much of a ego to admit his videos have the above flaws, and is followed by a gazillion asskissers who agree with him, he doesn't try to work on becoming better. Laziness might be a factor to.

It takes a certain level of dunning-kruger to want to be a professional film maker, but to repeatedly leave fuckups in your videos that are so obvious some rando like me who makes WMM videos can spot them. I don't know if he's lazy, lacks ability and doesn't know it or if he's just an arrogant shithead like Spergegon who legit thinks they are brilliant.

E-celebs in general scream dunning-kruger effect to me. Part of growing in anything is about realizing how much you don't know. Your videos should always be improving because making them is a learning process. Have Brad's videos noticeably improved since he first started making them? The TGWTG movies sure didn't. He's been making videos on the internet for 10+ years, hasn't he? For a living. He should be godlike at it by now.

Honestly I would think the whole point is improving, getting better, and trying to see how far you can get. But Brad's content. Why should he improve or even try? He's got a fanbase that will give him tens of thousands of dollars already; plus whatever else he wants. Brad, himself, feels that he has no reason to put in the effort to keep moving forward when he can stay where he is now.

I know shady fuckers like to do this, and this is certainly a possibility, but I don't think Brad would ever feel like do this - his paypigs have covered his hobby before and have given him much more, this isn't that much money to begin with. Plus I count on him being just as delusional with their fanbase as every other e-beggar and just assuming they will reach their goal without resorting to cheating and manipulating people. He already does it enough on his social media.
