Iron Man 3 fucked up the entire concept of Iron Man going forward. None of the Iron superheroes have needed to actually go out and fight in person since then, which makes every time they do so incredibly stupid. Sure, in Avengers 2 his AI went bad, but if he's really that scared of it happening again, he can just control the suits remotely. No risk to the pilot. As for Patsy Potts, her being in the suit is even stupider since unlike Rhodey, she has no combat training. She's a fucking secretary!
