Because the man is a failed wannabe comedian and wannabe filmmaker who will never achieve even a portion of what even the shittiest directors he's criticized have done. He would be unable to do anything close to what even James Rolfe could do - at least he made a real movie, or something close to it. Suburban knights and such is just a bunch of assholes running around and having "fun", not really making anything worth watching.

Also keep in mind that it's basically Demo Reel, a shitshow everybody hated, only in Nostalgia Critic disguise, which is enough for the retards that keep watching Doge to be satisfied. He'll probably end up doing this until he dies.
