It's funny. Occasionally when I get into disputes with people, they'll say something about me being a Polish Jew as an insult. It happens to my brother too. We're both blonde and blue-eyed with wide, flat noses (very typical Baltic features, not so much Jewish) so I have no idea it comes from. I guess people just think Eastern European automatically equals Jew.

Then again I've been told by multiple people I resemble famous Jewess Scarlett Johansson so maybe there's something there? Growing up I actually thought my dad was Jewish but he has dark curly hair, eats matzo, and says "oy vey" a lot so at least I had my reasons. I dunno.
