The F91 and Crossbones eh? Yeah, they go about making the MS far more compact and agile which is a smart move IMO for the universe and the way to escalate the action. Plus, Okawara worked some real miracles with sleeker designs at the time, paved the way for Katoki to come in.

Is it just me, or does resident heel and psycho Dorothy make a lot more sense here? At least she actually presents an argument, even if it's not particularly deep.

Gee, sure is good and convenient that every side in Gundam Wing is fighting for stupid, abstract, and confusing reasons, and nobody is herding people into labor camps, instituting an Orwellian dictatorship where everyone but the ruling elite lives in utter misery, or killing everyone who's the wrong religion. That would make the "muh pacifism" argument break down for the same reasons it does in real life.

Yes, too bad there aren’t too many series of that time period, in current format of 25 episodes per season now they could try a F91/ crossbones series to show more of that kind of ms , they tried changing protagonists in age but that didn’t work too well in my opinion but they could try with Seabook/Tobiah.

I'd rather they didn't. I know it's sentimental autism on my part but now that Koji Tsujitani passed away last December, I'd rather they keep it to the manga and let it quietly rest. They could try a post Victory series with a more adult character but usually non-Tomino writters try that in U.C., with Kou Uraki being 19 to 20, Shiro being around...24? and of course jazz enthusiast Io Flemming being close to 25.

One thing I'd rather see in Gundam now is the series being shortened and telling their damn stories in just 25 episodes and be done with it. They clearly don't have the talented people any more that can keep making 50 episode series without going full retard as IBO showed.

Damn, this just makes me realize they wasted a perfectly good concept by keeping it in the background and barely doing anything with it. Imagine the Gundam pilots getting woke on the JQ and convincing Zechs and co. that the real enemy they need to dismantle is ZOG.

I thought Treize was also in with the Romefellers, at least till the drone program caused him to get butthurt? IDK, it's been a long time and the show's politics are so convoluted. Pretty much everyone switches sides at one point. But who'd have thunk Relena would get redpilled? They made some of the weirdest, dumbest character changes in the Wing EU. I heard they retconned Dorothy into trying to end war. It's like they deliberately changed every character into their exact opposite in ways that make no sense to piss people off.

It's as you say, Treize got butthurt, got redpilled and set his autismo keikaku about eliminating dem jooz in motion, except he made one mistake : he became friends with an equally autistic Chink and died for it. Wu Fei was the Light to his L if you will.

Wing EU is amazing since basically Sunrise went "Please make more Wing, we need to sell more plastic models" so they went in, made some new designs but instead Sunrise had the brilliant idea to never release the mechas but publish all the stories by that staff while smoking weed.
