No, I think she may have went there for college since she was in Texas doing Con videos in the mid 2000s where she would have been college age. She has a "degree in communication focusing on journalism" (her words, I assume she means a Major) so I doubt she wanted to be a voice actor. Those con videos were documentaries so she may have wanted to do 60 minutes style shit.
