Could be like Lupa, hiding his age. Though I think he just went too skinny. Some people have a face that isn't framed well without a little chub. There was one deviantart model years ago who looked really gaunt until she hit her early twenties, lost the metabolism and her face filled out, then all of a sudden her fame shot up because she looked much better.

Bennet needs to find the right balance, but with most of these nobodies it's an all or nothing thing. Usually nothing.
