An very large amount of shota, straight or shota x shota is made by females but when it comes to men, you'll be surprised at how many prefer to make shotaxshota stuff compared to straight shota. Same with futas, when it's a futa and a female it's usually a weird split on female and male authors that's reflected on their futa X males : males will often be depicted as either dominated or wanting both the d and clit from male authors while females have some...really beyond weird ideas for futas that would make you wonder if females even understand how dicks work.

Needless to say, such male authors are often called "fudanshis" aka "rotten men", the male equivalent to fujoshis. Just ike them though, they used to be the minority but it seems these days, fudanshis and fujoshis are on the rise with futa being the tamest of the things they'll put out.

So yeah, that was kind of a problem at one time, I think. Sort of. Maybe. Not sure.
