Saw Broly.

A few thoughts:

-I like how they've reworked Broly into being more of an antihero and rewriting his dynamic with his dad, the movie does a good job tying Freeza into the action as well.

-Freeza hasn't 'turned good' or whatever, which is something I was worried about because that's some hack bullshit.

-The movie's pretty well paced, and moves quickly. Its 'fun', maybe slightly under Battle of Gods. Its an interesting sort of seesaw effect that has developed as we've moved into Nu-Dragon Ball, Super is a lot worse than Z but the Super movies have mostly been better.

-Bardock didn't need to be in the movie at all, which is makes the fact that he's in the movie at all even weirder, because the jettisoning of his backstory is probably the worst part of the film.

Its ok, some dodgy CG at points, but its fun.

DHI is proof you can be both a massive homosexual and a virgin. They're not exclusive. If you display both in large enough quantities you can qualify for mod status.

I'm not sure where this should go, so I'll just dump this here.

Singer in Teen Pop Group Apologizes for Swastika Shirt
Incidents involving insensitive use of Nazi symbols occur from time to time in Thailand, where there is little awareness of the Holocaust and an inclination to use them as design elements or comic props.

...

Thais are not alone among the peoples of Asia with little knowledge or sensitivity about the Holocaust. In what may be a mark of disinterest in history among the younger generation, several other youth-oriented music groups have been involved in similar scandals.

Late last year, management for the South Korean hit K-pop boy band BTS apologized for one of its members wearing a T-shirt depicting the explosion of an atomic bomb and another a hat with a Nazi emblem in a magazine photo book. Band members previously flew flags with what appeared to be the Nazi swastika during a concert.

...

Keyakizaka46, a group of about 20 mostly teenage girls who sing and dance in synch, appeared at a concert in black knee-length dresses that look like military overcoats, and black capes and officer caps with a Nazi-like eagle emblem. Sony Music is the group’s label.

Pics for those interested.

About time this forum posted pics I can fap to!

Probably should have gone under the "Funny Pictures" thread actually. The swastika is a Buddhist symbol too, so I thought at least one of these might be journalists being dumbasses, but those are definitely supposed to look like SS uniforms. The last one doesn't seem like a big deal though. No actual swastika, just black uniforms with a generic eagle icon on the cap. You might as well get triggered by M. Bison's uniform or the Imperial officers from Star Wars.

Silly krautaboos.

Also highly problematic of the article writer to be so oblivious to the swastika's actual origin, and it's resulting usage in pretty much all over Asia.

Booo swatz are so yesterday, they should wear the Principality of Zeon logo shirts since Zeon is based off of the Nazis and Imperial Japan.

Western liberals wouldn't shit themselves over that though, so it wouldn't be nearly as lulzy. Also, Zeon did nothing wrong.

They were the Principality of Peace, wanting nothing more than to live in freedom from the problematic Earthlings.

Though one has to wonder how come almost all of Japan loves Zeon yet hates every last one of the Zeon-expies from the other gundam shows, except for the Char of the season since he's always bound to be a hot blonde fujobait.

Why would they not hate lame and obvious copies?

(Then again they're apparently fine with 95% of all main character Gundams looking way too similar.)
