I think his fans like the skits for the same reasons furries like all these new shitty Sanic characters. It's their autism.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 2:59 pmNobody likes them, they maybe tolerate them but not like them, there are skitless versions of his videos online.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:39 amThose other channels that left were also pulling shit numbers, meaning shit revenue. Better to cut bait, lose a little bit of revenue but keep the channel focused on its big money-makers. TGWTG always meant Doge videos and that's what it is now. Token Latina and Gay Black Furry could be replaced by muppets and people would still tune in. Doge just needs someone to bounce off for his shitty skits that autists love.

I have yet to meet someone that actually liked the skits, I think the skitless uploads show this to be true.

I'm not autistic enough to go look it up, but do his skitless reviews really get better metrics? If people like them more, they should have more views and more likes as a percentage.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 3:09 pmI have yet to meet someone that actually liked the skits, I think the skitless uploads show this to be true.
I'm not arguing the skits aren't shit but I think his stupid fanbase like them for some reason.

I always assumed that the skits became so prominent because Demo Reel fizzled out so damn fast, but he still had whatever-their-names-are contracted for such and such many appearances, and/or on payroll for so and so many years or whatever. That might have been the case for a while, and now it's just habit. Hell if I know.

Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Starting a smear campaign against your former (kinda-sorta) employer for attention != rallying your fans after your main income source is suddenly gone

Exposing your employers to an online audience isn't the same as e-begging, no.

Yes, I remember MarzGurl latching onto it 100% and making her own video on it holding a giant WTFU sign that she made. Dumb cunt.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 7:19 pmRemember that failed #wtfu campaign?
