I’m watching uploads of the new Young Justice season (because fuck DC and their streaming service) and so far it’s alright. It’s a bit darker with some blood and shots of bodies without being Snyder bleak, and while I was dreading it’d be Woke Justice so far it’s been alright, even with a sub plot about pseudo syrian/sand nigger refugees. I liked the original series a lot and it was the closest I’ve come to being interested in capeshit, hope they don’t fuck it up.

So I'm checking it out and it's pretty good, but I don't like how they introduced this Muslim "Not-Iraqi" girl to the cast and they're focusing so much on her. At one point her hijab got burned off and I thought, "Oh, good. Now they're going to treat her like a normal character."
But then she got a new one and they made this big speech about it.
Seems kind of like a Mary Sue with her power set in the fact that she seems to be able to do anything. In fact, she literally can't die. I dunno man.

Muslims are absolutely not persecuted in this country. Go find me an example of when they were actually discriminated against unfairly. Every time they were arrested it was because law enforcement had hard evidence (such as, being actually shot at).

No, it's always been a bunch of shitskins afraid that the country's going to turn against them. What a bunch of whiny losers. All the other minorities at least had examples of actual past discrimination to base their virtue signaling on.
Yet of course, the Trust Us, We're Muslims! voice is unequivocally the loudest of them all.

Yeah, Halo, I’ve got a bad feeling about her. The immortality thing is overkill for sure, especially when no one else on the team is that powerful. I do like the exiled prince character, and find his story to be quite interesting. They had passable commentary with a meta human ban, but to make it meta human AND pseudo Muslims is pretty overkill.

I did however crack up during the episode with Miss Martian and her brother. The lines about “white revolution” and their persecution just got me. I know they set up the white martians pre virtue signaling days, but it’s still hilarious.

This part of the story takes place in some European country where there's a monarchy, they have Frenchy sounding names, and Russian sounding accents. I can't remember what they called it. And they're dealing with obviously Islamic immigrants from "Kuraq" or something like that. And yeah, we see these fictional Euro guys sometime yelling at the Muslim girl and telling her her kind doesn't belong there.

Time will tell I guess. So far it's still "standard TV soft liberalism" and hasn't gone full SJW pozzed like the comic books.

Even with poz the adaptations of comics are forced to have standards because people are actually paying attention. Used to be that capeshit toonkinos were better than their source material. Now not so much.

I’ll defend them seeing as DC does that a lot. They always have fictional cities, nations, etc, this series has been doing that since the beginning. I don’t mind honestly, it gives you more creative freedom.

This is a point I feel gets glossed over a lot in discussions of Hollywood fuckery. Hollywood has all kinds of financial loophills to keep the actual puppet masters controlling Hollywood from losing money when shit like the Ghostbusters remake or Solo fall flat on their face. Hollywood isn't a money making business, money is not and never has been the point for the real mover's and shakers, it's a propaganda machine for the most evil fucking creatures to walk in human skin.
