I seem to recall that he even had a section with anime text reviews, though they where all from some other guy, who I think never became an internet nobody. Very mysterious.

I think he started ballooning after The Patriot (97). I remember when he did Exit Wounds (2002) Joel Silver was bragging about how he'd lost all this weight and was taking his "comeback" seriously. That lasted that one movie. He's a fat lazy bastard now who only shows up to collect money.

He's been fat since forever but it just struck me again and every time I see Segal. Dude used to actually be cool many moons ago and has become a complete laughing stock.

Wouldn't surprise me. I doubt he's been on his own site more than five times after the Red Dragon incident and it's been in an utter state of disarray for years. I'm actually more surprised it's still there.

So, Spoony got a free DVD of Turkish Rambo from the people who dubbed it into English, he recorded a review which ended up without sound and then he got angry and moved onto something else...

Seagal's been infamous for his terrible work ethic for some time now. The majority of his performances are filmed with body doubles and he apparently refuses to do ADR so half the tie some generic deep voice is dubbed over him.

He was pretty scrawny early in his career, see Above The Law, which has one of my favorite lines. "You guys think you're above the law. But you ain't above mine."

I’m sorry for my prolonged absence from the site, and it will be a little longer before I’ll be able to update. I was involved in a pretty significant physical altercation about a week ago and it’s taken me a while to recover. But before you ask, don’t worry, I’m completely fine. It’s just been pretty complicated lately getting everything sorted out; hopefully everything will be clearer soon.
