agreed with previous post about how culkin and james should have just played the games and talked about them off the cuff and edited something out of that. would have actually been interesting. it would've been cool to hear about how culkin actually thought about those games as a kid, and if he even played them back then. did he brag to other kids about being on nintendo or was he ashamed that the games sucked or did he just never touch them? could've been interesting to go into but no, james had to go with the boring, shitty scripted nonsense. the im a pizza boy not at all mcculkin thing was lame from the first second and they even kind of acknowledge it by just dropping it and moving on like it never happened. so why the fuck do it?

what the fuck is wrong with james? yes the video rental videos are better. he could still do a more relaxed non-scripted thing as 'the nerd' and it would be better than his poor attempts at scripted humor. i think the guy can be entertaining he just has wrong ideas which is disappointing. play the games for hours, go through and just edit the best bits out, and have some scripted elements where you go into some background of the game. it's fucking obvious so why can't he realize it?

He's doing it for the money, AVGN videos get the most views - plain and simple, he has a wife and two kids he needs to take care of, so it's understandable. Passions is long gone, we still get some glimpses of it, like in a polybius video thingy a year ago, but for the most part it's just clocking in and milking the cash cow, while it's still standing, to set up those college funds.
