God, I hate Gilliam's movies. I rewatched 12 Monkeys after watching the cheesy Cucknadian series and damn that is hard to get through. Love the '90s cinematography but that guy is weird for the sake of being weird.
Was 12 Monkeys even supposed to make sense? It feels like a very elaborate troll. Like some Warhol pissin on copper plates thing to see how stupid he can get while getting away with it kinda deal.

Brazil and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are both great. Gilliam is a huge hit and miss though. Brothers Grimm is complete crap and Tideland is the most boring nonsense I've ever seen.

I've only seen Fear and Loathing of all those movies and it was pretty good. Good music and the style fits to two fuckups on a drug bender in Las Vegas.

What a disappointing film A Fish Called Wanda is. The two strongest comic actors (Palin and Cleese) are forced into boring roles. Cleese plays the endearing straight man lawyer and Palin gets a bit part saddled with an obnoxious stutter. Meanwhile the two unfunny yanks get to have all the comedic scenes. What a waste.

I dont watch movies, television or read books. Fiction is a Jewish trick. Either film a real 30 foot tall gorilla or dont but I wont pay 16 dollars to be lied too about a tiny toy you're filming one frame at a time. Even so called realistic movies are psy ops designed to sabotage America. The cold war being decided by boxers? A single shoeless NYPD cop thwarting a terrorist heist? Mel Gibson befriending a black man? Unlikely my friends!

The one exception to this Starship Troopers because it is an accurate account of what war with China would be like.

Well, it's good that the only movie you approve is at least a great one.

Guest isn't wrong. The Fiction industry needs to be burned to the ground.
I've considered just dropping everything, because I hate watching movies, I hate reading books, there really isn't any music I enjoy, I despise performers and artists and want all of them killed and eaten.

Movies are a social construct.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Maybe because he wrote a post about movies in the Movie Thread.
