I honestly think it's less Doge did something to her it's that Doge didn't take her side when Michaud called her out. Not realising that just because he was nice to you during filming the anniversary to him you're just a member of staff and your only real impact was being responsible for getting someone who was actually popular fired.

Her channel needs to evolve, or her personality needs to be more charismatic.

And the Confederacy needed to industrialize, centralize, and ban slavery to get European allies to win the American Civil War. They could've done it if only they had gotten rid of absolutely everything that made them the Confederacy!

Honestly, it's highly possible the only thing they had to do differently to win the war was just not accidentally leave a copy of their battle plans behind that the Union army subsequently found, which aided them in winning the Battle of Antietam, an important turning point of the war.

Of course, contrariwise, any hope the Confederacy had of winning might have evaporated had better people been put in charge of the Union army to begin with. Or had Buchanan actually taken steps to prepare for the war when it was obvious it was going to break out rather than just sit around lamely and dump the whole mess onto Lincoln's lap.
