What is it with goons and Star Citizen?

Goonswarm hoping to branch out from EVE Online. They went under Agents of S.P.E.R.G. on the Star Citizen forums. They've tried the same shit with Mechwarrior: Online when a persistent territory map was initially promised. Basically, if players can own territory or otherwise have influence in a game world, you'll have Goonswarm taking an interest in it and trying to become an oppressive force like they are in EVE.

Exactly that. It was even worse with Mechwarrior: Online because there the whole point they've been there was totally scrapped right after the closed beta.
As for Scam Citizen, they had to rename themselves and had to lay low because the community manager straight up told them: "I know where you're from, I know what you're up to. I'll ban every single one of you if you even remotely act out of line.". So not only were they scammed like everyone else, they were told that they are automatically on the shit list for being goons.

Alas, I've been out of the loop really, not made any videos for a while as I've been concentrating on my book. Also, its been a little dull online, DSP doesn't seem to be making a tit out of himself as much now and other lolcows like Wings of Redemption have gone to ground. I have been lurking, but I was mostly looking forward to you discussing Pat shooting himself in the foot... again.
