There's already been significant pushback up north. In Ontario, the Liberals were effectively nailed to a fence in the last election, to the point that they're right on the edge of even being officially recognized as a party in the province and Little Potato is amazingly unpopular throughout. The whole legalized pot thing hit in force right after the Ontario Liberals thing became obvious, which was long before the election, as the only campaign promise the guy could hope to actually do, and even that was a shitshow.
