At least DMC4:SE was a remake of a game that didn't have MTs. DMC5 is likely being built from the ground with that shit in mind. I bet they'll tinker with how many orbs you gain vs how expensive everything is.

I don't care if it's considered a proper DMC or not. It looks like garbage.

Except 4SE sold over 2 million copies. So let's be real here. People did buy the game, but they didn't give a shit since getting red orbs in that game is so easy.

Also every single orb you find is added to every character's pool. Made sense in the old game where each character plays through their own half of the game, but now in SE when you start the Vergil or Lady/Trish run you can basically upgrade them to near max from the get-go.

It could very well happen to the Resi2 remake, which looks like dogshit BTW.
It looks like a big budget Revelations game. I'm just hoping it's better than that. Out of curiosity, what don't you like about the game that's been showed off so far?

The facial animations for one. They look off-putting due to that uncanny valley effect. It's the same problem with DMC5. I have no idea why Crapcom's going for ultra-realism these days.

Secondly, it just looks like a fan mod for RE7 (same engine). Comes off as cheap.

Third, I get the feeling it'll be too hand-holdy compared to the original + there'll be an emphasis on more action for some sections.

Fourth, they ruined Ada. No more red dress. Now, it's a shitty trench coat.

I'm sure there'll be more fuck ups they'll reveal soon.

Red Dress Ada will probably cost $14.99.

I was under the impression that you mistakingly watched some old trailer for RE5, because you don't know what the fuck are you talking about. Sensitive much? It looks like shit because they have decent facial animations, wtf? Also, how dare they change Ada's clothes into something more sensible for evening... minus the fucking black glasses, but obviously that doesn't bother you.

It actually looks decent, and shows promise, since they seem to have some amount of respect for the original game. As a big fan of the original games, I approve. It could always be better, but calling it shit or a mod makes guestfag sound like someone who is trying to emulate AVGN by just trashing anything without good reason.

Right, the good old feeling. It will probably be a bit more elaborate than RE Remake, which mostly kept the similar layout with couple of new locations. Layout of police station etc. could be completely different, but I'm pretty sure they will keep the formula. This isn't RE8.

After the shit that was RE5 I've stopped caring about the franchise at all, and although RE7 looked interesting on it's own, it wasn't the same thing anymore. This looks like the return to the good old days, or at the very least the closest attempt they have made.

Ada’s got the dress underneath the trench coat, just wait and see.

More nu-RE2 footage. The boss fight against William Birkin is garbage. Claire's face looks like she has autism.

Hurr durr, but at least it looks purdy!
