I upgraded my pc but now I cant find any good new games to try...

this is insane, I googled best games of 2016, best games of 2017 so far and thinks like that and I dont like most games that are mentioned.

Did I upgrade my pc just in time to see gaming die?

What games released in the past 2-3 years on pc are good in your eyes guys so I can see if I might like those.

If grand strategy is your thing, Crusader Kings 2 is a good recommendation. Stellaris is also good if you're into sci-fi.

Stardew Valley is probably the best Harvest Moon clone you're gonna find.

Kerbal Space Program is a pretty fun space physics simulator toolbox. Has a rather steep learning curve, but finally pulling off an entire moon mission or space station construction feels pretty rewarding. Also orbital re-entry can get pretty intense.

This is probably cheating because the game itself is actually older, but the port of Bayonetta is like, really friggin' good.

Uhm crusader kings is boring as farts and stellaris is one of the worst games Ive got also loaded with overpriced dlc...

Those other games Ive couldve played 2 pcs back so those are not what Im looking for tbh.

Im havent been into fighting games ever since I stopped couch co-oping.
Single player is just boring and online its either lag, you stomping a noob or you getting stomped by a pro.

How about Shadow Warrior 2? That will test your rig and I found it quite fun for 30 hours.

I managed to run that at low settings on my older card but I got turned off really fast by the childish "humor".

btw yes Im old and yes I might be getting jaded with gaming.

Just to illustrate the case better, I had a gtx650 and was able to play almost every game I wanted decently, but witcher 3 and some things on the horizon would be enjoyed better with an upgrade so I upgrade to a gtx 1060 6gb and figured now a new world of games will open up to me.

Right away for honor and nier automata caught my eye as games on the next level that my old card wouldnt have ran right anyway, seemed perfect right? Did some research and seems both games are failures or just not that good as hyped. Besides those I really cant find any newer titles that peek my interst and Ive never had this problem in gaming before...

I would blame it on the current console generation, whose crappy specs keep the PC Gaming Master Race down.
