They can't figure out what to do with her in the comics, but I'm guessing it will be a standard (if predictable) adventure movie about her winning the day with feminist bullshit unlikely powers and even more unlikely allies.

Kevin Feig stuff is surprisingly Silver/Bronze Age in its sensibilities, because they're trying to keep China as a big market and sell merch to as many normie kids via their parents as possible. Going too leftist/odd makes Asia confused and dollars drop. So she may be a capable military person who has an alien friend teach her the meaning of life, and she c onmes back to let Rogue swallow her save the day.

If it has clueless girl woman with a beat 'em up EvilDad suddenly given strange powers for great Social Justice, you'll know it sucks. I dont think Marvel will go that far, simply because playing it safe/straight is the best way to keep ensuring steady millions.
