Brian and Paul have the little problem that they are back sway characters. It's a lot harder to properly korean back dash with them and not accidentally get a back sway.
I feel like what Kazuya lacks in pokes he more than makes up with crazy hard punishes and a really good wave dash. The need to practise wave dash, electric and kbd will always be there for any Mishima. Heihachi is easily the simplest Michima to get into, discounting Jin because you could play him completely without any Mishima stuff.
Many punishes work just as well with a normal wgf with most of the difference being between "you fucked up" and "damn, you REALLY fucked up now" regarding the outcome. Not that I'm good enough for either.

Majin seems to be working on his bad matchups. I do think that it helps that he plays King because he goes for many unorthodox plays so if you're mostly used to play against coockie cutter Kings he can surprise you.

I think I need to go and practise a bit with Geese. It's been way too long since I've Raising Strom'd a faggot and he seems to be pretty good.

I dunno, you COULD play Heihachi without mishima stuff, but I don't think you could really do it for long. You can play Bryan on the scrub level like I do, without taunt jet upper, but that misses his most dangerous wall setups and big damage.

Heihachi without mishima stuff is a little like Dragunov without running 2 or King without Giant Swing.

Even Jin in Tekken 6 with no true EWGF still has to do Mishima shit. It enhances the poking and pestering when you also can do electric hook fist in neutral for pressure or use his hellsweep to call out an opponent who isn't ducking.

They're both in TTT2 and you can see that Jun is pretty different.

I saw footage of that and it doesn't play like her at all. She moves so damn fast, the weird body poses and flow of her moves is gone, she almost fights like she is doing Tai Chi in Tekken Tag 1 and Tekken 2. But in Tag 2 she just moves fast like everyone else and her moveset looks nothing like her old one at first glance. She also looks nothing like the she did in Tekken 2, she looks like Asuka's mother.

Speaking of characters who don't look like themselves, Lei looks nothing like he used to.
