I started watching Retsupurae videos in 2015 because my friends got me into it. Most Let's Plays are boring to me, but I enjoyed the MST3K thing they had going on and I liked the Wrongpuraes a lot.

I was pretty baffled by how seriously Slowbeef took the concept of Let's Play, as though it was a legitimate art form. He's an SJW normalfag now, but that doesn't change the fact that he used to bully autistic 13 year-olds for recording themselves playing video games the "wrong way."

That’s the beauty of it all, no matter how hard they try and how popular they thought they were, Redtubeplay will never be more than a pebble in a rock quarry. The only way ol Slowqueef could break the shell of mundane would be for him to engage in mass murder or something...even then he’d be outclassed and forgotten.

Yeah, he's still chugging along. Doesn't get many views nowadays (a few thousand per video), but on the other hand I don't think he ever cared that much about popularity, as I don't think he ever monetized anything.

I didn't think he even translated Polienauts, he was just the hackerman on the PS1 version. You see a lot of pirate-types get too hands on with the ownership of their warez, thinking your their for their rips and not the content itself.
